Updates and corrections

We log every change to what MapSub publishes: new data, updated prices and our own mistakes. Corrections stay on this page permanently; we don't quietly rewrite figures. So far: 13 entries, 2 of them corrections.

Prices are re-checked on each provider's site every month. Found something wrong? Email us via the contact page and we'll check it and log the result here. How we work: editorial standards.

  1. UpdateChatGPT vs Claude: what each plan tier includes, quoted from OpenAI's and Anthropic's own pricing and help pages (usage limits, coding tools, admin and data-training defaults). See the page.
  2. NewUS prices for Disney+, Hulu, the Disney+/Hulu bundle, Peacock, YouTube Premium and Amazon Prime. Their live sites show our checker another country's prices, so each was read on an archived copy of the provider's own US page captured between Oct 23 and Nov 1, 2026; each table links the copy used. See the page.
  3. UpdateMicrosoft's July 1, 2026 business price change (Business Basic $6 to $7, Business Standard $12.50 to $14 per user per month, paid yearly), with Microsoft's announcement and before/after pages. See the page.
  4. CorrectionFour source links on our price pages pointed to the wrong address (one returned "page not found"): Slack Business+, Paramount+, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Family. They now link the exact pages the prices were read on. See the page.
  5. NewMachine-readable file with every published price, its check date and source. See the page.
  6. NewDisney+ US price history, with the effective dates Disney announced on its own homepage. See the page.
  7. NewResearch: how much Americans spend on subscriptions, from official BLS and BEA data and traced surveys. See the page.
  8. CorrectionChatGPT Business and Claude Team require at least 2 seats (Claude Team allows up to 150). Our team cost tables previously allowed a single seat; they now apply the minimum. See the page.
  9. UpdateChatGPT Pro is listed as OpenAI's three usage tiers ($100, $200 and $500 a month) instead of one plan with a note. See the page.
  10. UpdateSubscription tracker: switching currency now asks first and never converts amounts; importing a file in another currency warns before mixing currencies. See the page.
  11. NewNetflix and Spotify US price histories, each price linked to an archived copy of the provider's own page. See the page.
  12. NewStreaming prices in the UK, Canada and Australia, in local currency. See the page.
  13. NewPricing data for 20 services, each price read on the provider's own site and dated. See the page.
