Accuracy

Calculator formulas are tested against hand-worked examples before every release. When a page states a price or a policy for a named service, it links to the provider's own page and shows the date we last checked it. Prices change often, so treat any price as "as checked on" that date.

Pricing data

Prices in our pricing pages are read on the provider's own website (pricing pages, plan pages, official help centers or the provider's announcements), never copied from review sites or news reports. For every plan we keep the exact wording that shows the price, the page address and the date. Starting prices, promotional prices and "contact sales" plans are labelled as such, and when an official page doesn't show us a price, we leave the service out rather than estimate. Every listed price is re-checked at least monthly.

How content is made

MapSub's tools and pages are drafted with the help of AI software and then checked: formulas by automated tests, and facts against primary sources such as providers' own pricing and help pages. We don't publish invented statistics, testimonials or expert quotes.

Independence and money

MapSub is free to use and may earn money from advertising and, in future, from affiliate links. A commission never changes a calculation or a recommendation, and any page with affiliate links will say so near the top.

Spotted a wrong number or an outdated price? Tell us through the contact page. We fix confirmed errors promptly, update the page's review date and record the fix on our public updates and corrections log.
